I have a friend. I think she is very innocent. She often does very stupid things. She doesn't do them intentionally. But still. I have started thinking that may be she is stupid. One fine Sunday, she came to my place. She was glowing. I thought may be she got engaged or married. But, she as usual left me in total shock. She was very excited. And was very anxious to tell me something. That something was: "XYZ has told me that I am the hottest Pakistani girl!" That XYZ is obviously a boy.

OMG! I was shocked! There are some Pakistani girls who have started liking when someone else tells them that they are hot girls. I just can't cope up with this idea. Why do they like when someone is actually talking about them in such words? They don't even know the meaning of hot. I mean they know the literal meaning. But they don't know in which context someone has said this.

Our society is very deep under the western influence. Our country Pakistan came into being in Islam's name. What is wrong with muslims here? I know, if someone told me on my face, that I was hot, I might even kill him. I mean come on. This isn't West. We Pakistani girls have certain limits and we should abide by Islamic rules. That is the only way, we can prosper.

What do you think about this? What is your opinion about this? Do you think my friend's happiness over being called "hottest Pakistani girl" was good or bad?
