Against all odds, Pakistan Fashion Week hit the ramps in Karachi on Wednesday. The four-day event has been rescheduled twice due to security concerns, but that hasn’t dampened the creative energy driving the participating designers and models. Over 30 Pakistani designers - including giants such as Sonya Battla, Rizwan Beyg, and Maheen Khan - are showcasing a variety of casual and formal outfits as well as western wear, jackets, and accessories. The real treat of the week is the chance to catch the designs of dozens of up-and-coming designers as they come down the catwalk.

Pakistani Girls and Women in Action

The status of women in Pakistan varies considerably from region to region and classes to class.The women and girls of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are very different from those of Punjab and Sindh. Similarly girls of Balochistan are different from all other provinces. The only common thing is that they have an islamic touch. The girls nd women in various channels are not the true representative of Pakistani women. TV girls are just the business girls who are being used by various TV channels just to attract viewers.Almost all TV channels are using girls as a toys.They wear sexy dresses to attract viewers and making business to earn profit.Sometimes this passion atteact others girl to do the same but due to linited financial resources they can not do that because our society does not allow them to do so. As a result they go to the wrong people where sometime they are dishonoured and even ,murdered if resist.This phenomena has created a liberal extremism in our society and creating a problems inour society. Every mobile companies have now active in free sms packages and late night call rates which have given way to the bad people to disturb noble women and girls. Some times girs are also involved in making flirt to their friends to promote the culture of bad doings.YTou can see these girls in the Parks of Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and peshawar. Universities are full of those couples which are badly creating a society which is unfit to adjust themselves in real environment.

Pakistani women are also playing positive role in the field of education and medical.Many women have contributed towards the progress of PAkistan but these women have never been encouraged because our media encourage only those people fromwhom they can earn profits.Their standard is popularity. Media persons have never called the women who were being maltreated at Police Stations and Bus Stations. Women in Politics sitting in parliament are just for the enjoyment for Male mininsters and never contributed to the up bringing of common Pakistanin women. They do not know the problems of women living in villages. They are just active against the Taliban Parda system but never came forward for the women who were raped in Police stations and public places.It is unfortunate that these women became very active and vocal about the footage of Sawat wher one women was maltreated by so called taliban. This video was later proved fake video. in last few days of january 2011 two young girls having age 13 years and 3 years were raped and then killed by some men. The reason is that these girls belong to poor families and they cannot pay money to media to get attention.on the other hand the videos against Taliban are heavily financed to media and these so called pakistani media channels get their account filled by exploiting those news.

I being a male suggest to all women and girl that please do not become victim of these so called women. Why not you come in Politics to get your real rights? Why not you work for the women living in villages? why not you work for the girls of khyber pakhtun khwa? why not you save women being raped by doctors to the women patient by becoming doctor and opening of female hospitals? whay not you become a good teachers to produce the generation of true Pakistani polished with islamic trends? why you are not proud of muslim Pakistani? Why you have given space to the corrupt women parliamentarians by not coming into the politics?

I hope you will play your role to make Pakistan stronger than ever. You can bring revolution by helping you fellow brothers who want to change our corrupt elders politicians who are looting this country since last 60 years.Only young and educated class can bring the change not our elders.

Many Muslims who are living in the US prefer to marry a Pakistani girl rather than getting married to a local Muslim.
