Many Muslims who are living in the US prefer to marry a Pakistani girl rather than getting married to a local Muslim. While there are many single Muslim women in USA, the preference for a Pakistani girl stems from the need to find a wife who is aware of the Islamic culture and actually practices these values in the actual life. Many men believe that the women in the US have become westernized and have acquired too much of the western culture. This is the reason why many men choose Pakistani single females even if it means entering an arranged marriage and in most cases not having met the women till almost the wedding is upon them. Matrimony is a very serious thing in Islam and once the decision has been made, the husband and wife put in every possible effort in making sure that the marriage is successful.

Marrying the person with similar cultural and religious backgrounds has many benefits as there are no complications and rifts based on these issues. So when making a marriage decision, make sure that your heart is in it and you are not just doing it to make your parents happy.
